Hunt some "ribeye of the sky" with Ambush Waterfowl in the premier fields of West Texas. Our Sandhill Crane hunts are a bucket-list experience for any waterfowl hunter, offering intense, fast-paced action with some of the most sought-after game birds in North America.
What to Expect:
- Start Time: Hunts begin at 6:30 AM and typically conclude by 11:00 - 11:30 AM, though limits are often reached earlier.
- Target Species: Sandhill Cranes – known for their challenging flight patterns and sharp eyesight.
- Terrain: Expect to hunt over grain fields and flyways frequented by large crane populations.
- Access: Clients are driven directly to the field unless wet conditions require alternative shuttling.
