About Hunt
Although mule deer populations in our region have faced challenges from drought and overhunting, these resilient animals are making a strong comeback thanks to the efforts of TPWD and Plaska Lodge. We’ve harvested bucks over 190" in past seasons. Archery hunts take place in a variety of habitats—from Red River bottoms to surrounding ag fields—and utilize elevated stands, pop-up blinds, brush blinds, and spot-and-stalk opportunities when possible.
- $3,200 per hunter
- $1,000 kill fee for any trophy
- 3 days, 4 nights
- Guide not included
- Meals (non-alcoholic beverages included)
- Lodging
- Transportation around the ranch
- Cleaning, quartering, and cold storage of game
- Minimum 20" outside spread
- Non-hunting guests welcome for $270/day
- Additional hunting days available at $1,000/day
- Coyote and hog hunting included if you tag out early
