THE HUNT
While we’re proud to maintain a 100% shot opportunity rate, the goal is about more than taking home a trophy. These hunts take place across vast, multi-generational properties — and with Logan L. as your guide, you’ll be in capable, experienced hands. Constant monitoring of herd movement and terrain conditions helps ensure a higher-quality experience and a more ethical harvest.
We do our best to position hunters within 350 yards for a clean shot. However, we strongly encourage clients to practice shooting out to 600 yards to develop confidence and gain perspective. Practicing from the prone position and at varied angles is also recommended. A bipod is highly encouraged.
The terrain here is remote, rugged, and diverse — from high desert grasslands to steep, rocky ridgelines and jagged cliffs. Like desert bighorn and other mountain species, free-range Aoudad offer an adventurous, high-value mountain hunt. Being in good physical condition expands your opportunities, but don't let that intimidate you. Logan tailors each hunt to the hunter, drawing on a wide range of terrain and a deep understanding of the species to provide a rewarding experience for all skill levels.
LODGING
Accommodations vary from comfortable bunk-style hunting camps to historic ranch houses. While some may be more rustic than others, you’ll always be warm, well-fed, and able to enjoy a hot shower at the end of the day. In certain cases, it may make more sense to stay in a hotel and dine locally. If you have preferences or requests, just let us know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
These are truly wild lands. You won’t encounter other hunters or over-pressured animals. It’s just you, the mountains, and the hunt.
MEALS
Meals are thoughtfully and professionally prepared, reflecting the regional flavors and local hospitality. Dietary restrictions are gladly accommodated — and if you have special requests or preferences, just let us know ahead of time.
